Making Baby Food - Applesauce
Homemade applesauce baby food. It's healthy and irresistible to baby!
Here are the supplies you'll need: an apple (I used "Golden Delicious"), cutting board, knife, saucepan and a food processor.

First, core the apple, then cut into cubes. Peeling is optional but you may want to if your baby is just starting out on solid foods. Otherwise, the end result may have very small pieces of peel left in it.
I did not peel mine.

Put the cubes in the saucepan and add 1/4 to 1/2 cups of water and bring to a boil.

Boil for approximately 2 minutes, or until the apples are fork-tender.

Drain (not shown) and put them into your food processor.

Pulse until it reaches your desired consistency.

Transfer to a bowl, make sure it has cooled, and serve! You have just made homemade baby food!

If you would like to store your baby food for later, simply put it in a storage bag and label and date it.
I like to flatten mine for freezing - they thaw quicker when you are ready to use them.
