Fun Family Activities

Do you need some ideas for fun family activities?

Summer is here and school is out! If you’re like me, you’re thinking, “What am I going to do with these kids all summer?”

Here’s our list of favorites:

• Camping
• Tin foil dinners
• Museums
• Swimming / sprinklers in the yard
• Earning money and going to the dollar store
• Taking a walk / hiking
• Bike ride
• Board games
• Studying a place and taking a vacation
• Craft projects
• Cooking
• Sports
• Chores (OK, that’s MY favorite)

With that said, keep in mind that children don’t need to be entertained every minute of the day. And there doesn’t need to be a big event happening every day.

I think it’s important that your children have some unstructured play time without you. So let them have their space!
